Mixco Viejo Guatemala

The city was part of the Post Classic Maya civilization. It was the capital of the kingdom and an estimated Pocomam housed about ten thousand people. How to get to Mixco Viejo

Take the road to Baja Verapaz San Juan Sacatepéquez exiting. The city tour begins at the end of the Calzada San Juan. On this course you get to Montúfar, and from there continue the cart. Going up the valley, find an intersection on the left, which leads within minutes to the archaeological site.
