October 20, day of the Revolution

October 20 is the day that Jorge Ubico ceased to be president of Guatemala. October 20 is commemorated today the revolution of 44 officially ending a long period of presidency, but it is not out of Ubico. Jorge Ubico resigned on July 1, 1944, after which it forms a triumvirate military junta dissolved on 3 March. The next president, Federico Ponce Vaides was ousted by Captain Jacobo Arbenz, Major Francisco Arana and Jorge Toriello civil on October 20, 1944.
Then after years of Jorge Ubico in power, is rated by some as a dictator who will everywhere exercise its pressing, restricting freedoms and even detractors by shooting. While it is hailed by others as the best served as President, who will bring to Guatemala from the crisis, pay debts, build and maintain service buildings clean and safe streets.
The conflict discussed above is still far atribuéndole new facts, some of which are not documented and they spend and the level of legend. The junta was disintegrated on July 3 after a few days amid the military movement of the October Revolution when Captain Jacobo Arbenz, Major Francisco Arana and Jorge Toriello civil overthrow the current government. This event marks the day of the revolution of 20 October and end of the government of Jorge Ubico and supporters.
During this new government convened the National Constituent Assembly giving rise to the new Constitution which replaced the maintaining force since 1879.
