Chicabal Volcano

Two volcanoes in Guatemala have a lake in its crater, Volcano Ipala and this, the Volcano Chicabal.
Interestingly one is in the East and the other in the West so no matter what your travel route, have no excuse to miss it.
Its summit reaches 2,700 + meters above sea level. It is a great volcano for starting up in tourism because his ascent is not difficult and has accessible roads for cars of all kinds. Tip: Do not overload your vehicle.
The Ascent by car to Chicabal ends with a fairly steep road, so you remember: do not overload your vehicle because it will cost to rise.
As you move up the walk, well signposted from the parking lot. Do not make noise and be respectful because you are in a sacred place. Follow signs for the trail and you'll come to the lake (on the right) or to the lookout (from left). Just below the lookout you will find a very hidden wooden bleachers that will lead you to the lake by another different path.
From the parking lot to the viewpoint will be about 35 minutes walk.
